East County Veterans Support Services help veteran and military families transition from military service, as well as active duty military and troops deployed. ECVSS provides a peer-to-peer support group by offering free dinners, free assistance for food, clothing, hygiene products, housewares and furniture.

Operation Dignity

Coming Home Project

Coming Home Project has a team of psychotherapists, veterans and interfaith leaders committed to alleviating the unseen wounds of war by skillfully addressing the emotional, social and spiritual injuries and the family challenges experienced during all stages of deployment, especially reintegration. Since 2006, Coming Home Project has served over 3,000 Iraq and Afghanistan veterans, service members and their families with a range of integrative programs including evidence-based healing and wellness retreats.
