Freedom Dogs is devoted to helping wounded military heroes returning from armed conflict. Freedom Dogs teams Specialty Service Dogs with troops returning from war with PTSD and physical limitations. The dogs must go through two years of custom training to become a Freedom Dog. The programs are offered at no cost to the military personnel and Freedom Dogs operate as a complete volunteer organization with no members or trainers receiving compensation for their work.
