Homeless Veterans of San Diego serves homeless veterans willing to make a commitment to help themselves and work one-on-one with one of HVSD’s advocates. Homeless Veterans of San Diego provides individualized advocacy and care to provide them resources and steps to get them the care and hope they need.

The Wave Academy mission is to bring water therapy to active duty military and veterans who have experienced trauma. Wave Academy leads the way in aquatic bodywork therapies, a technique that reduces stress, promotes better sleep, and helps with the ability to think more clearly. Since San Diego has the highest rate of veterans in the nation with PTSD, Wave Academy has focused its aquatic bodywork on veterans since 2010.

The San Diego Veterans Coalition leverages relationships with other Veteran Service organizations in order to provide veterans with complete services. Established in 2009, SDVC honors veterans and their families by providing physical, emotional, and employment support through an integrative system of community services.
Shelter to Soldier provides a valuable service by adopting dogs from local shelters and training them to become service dogs for post-9/11 combat veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury and/or other psychological injuries associated with traumatic service experiences.

SDMOM is a nondenominational organization dedicated to serving the active duty personnel and their families in San Diego County. SDMOM provides a daily distribution of food, household goods, children’s supplies, and many other services to junior enlisted families since World War II.
The San Diego Military Family Collaborative is a community of supportive networks of active duty, reservists, veterans, and their families. The San Diego Military Family Collaborative’s mission provides an inclusive forum to maximize the collective impact of community resources to enhance military family life.
Special Ops Survivors is an organization that forms bonds with families who have been effected by the loss of a loved one. Since 2002, Special Ops Survivors has helped families through the grieving process and stands by their side in these life altering events. This group’s mission is to never let the family of a fallen soldier stand alone.

The organization provides holistic services through the healing properties of nature to heal the mind, body, and spirit of each service member.
