Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run inspires girls to recognize their inner strength and celebrate what makes them one of a kind. Trained coaches lead small teams through research-based curricula which includes dynamic discussions, activities and running games. Over the course of the ten-week program, girls in 3rd-8th grade develop essential skills to help them navigate their worlds and establish a lifetime appreciation for health and fitness. The program culminates with girls positively impacting their communities through a service project and being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5K event.

Feeding Kids First

Over 20,000 children in San Diego County schools are identified as homeless or lack the proper food needed to lead a healthy life. Feeding Kids First is an organization dedicated to protecting these youngsters by providing them with the food assistance programs they need to function normally in their schools. Feeding Kids First was founded in 2010 and will continue to improve the well being of children for many years to come.

Doors of Change

Since 2001, Doors of Change has helped place over 1,800 homeless youth ages 12-17 in long-term safe housing. Doors of Change operates several programs to help San Diego youth overcome homelessness, including weekly outreach walks, weekly music and art programs to build trust and teach useful skills, and a long-term, comprehensive self-sufficiency program.
